World of Simple Design is a product design company that specializes in making modern products that are practical and simple. Based in Los Angeles, our team of designers are all Apple enthusiasts and have backgrounds in industrial engineering, music, video and Danish Modern design. Our first project, The Foundation Dock iPhone stand and multi-functional media dock, was funded on Kickstarter. 

Our team consists of Bill Debley, our industrial designer, Laine Scandalis, our product designer and Brandon Yamawaki, our creative director and designer.

Bill Debley has a background in manufacturing and rapid prototyping and is the founder of DB3 Industrial Design, an I.D. consulting firm and CNC machine shop. With over 20 years experience in product design he has helped clients like HP, Sega, Harman JBL, Saleen, Gibson, Sunkist, B&M, and Street Surfing bring products to market.

Laine Scandalis is a singer songwriter with a background in audio video event design and logistics. With a passion for technology and design she has always been drawn to Apple products to support her creative process.

Brandon Yamawaki has 10 years experience in the Action Sports industry with a strong emphasis on product design and marketing. He is also an avid surfer and cinematographer.

They also like ghost hunting, skateboarding and high altitude trout fishing.
